As a former Board Chair of the Lymphedema Advocacy Group, she played a pivotal role in the passage of the Lymphedema Treatment Act, benefiting millions of patients nationwide. Through her company, Higher Standard of Care LLC, Sarah uses her lived experience to educate healthcare professionals and empower patients to advocate for their care. Currently championing the Treat and Reduce Obesity Act, Sarah continues to lead the fight for improved diagnosis, treatment, and insurance coverage for underserved communities.
